The Music Ministry of Fairfax First Baptist Church seeks to honor God as we worship Him in Spirit and in truth.  He is our audience of One.  We serve only to facilitate this awesome act of worship.  Together we are learning to be His true worshippers.  We lift our voices to sing forth the honor due His name.  We play our instruments to make His Praise glorious.  Through the blending of contemporary praise and worship with traditional hymns, we express our love and adoration for a personal God Who loves and desires to commune with each of us.  We are honoring God and His people are being blessed.  Come, let us adore Him together!

Adult Choir - Our Adult Choir leads in worship and provides weekly and seasonal choral music.  We rehearse Wednesday evenings from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. throughout the year.  This choir is open to all adults and to those students desiring a broader choral experience.

Youth and Adult Praise Band - Both our Praise Banks provide worship leadership in our Sunday morning services as well as in the community.  The Adult Prise Banks rehearses Sunday afternoons from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.  The Youth Praise Band is not rehearsing at this time.  Pray that this group will begin praising God through music in the near future.

Children's Choir - Children's Choir is open to students Kindergarten through sixth grade.  Musical and spiritual instructions are core elements as we train children to worship the Lord and grow in their understanding of Jesus Christ.  They enjoy singing, playing instruments, movement and musical games to enhance their musical and spiritual learning.  Children's Choir rehearses every Wednesday from 6:30 - 7:00 p.m. 

Handbell Ensemble - Handbell Ensemble is for anyone interested in ringing to the glory of God.  No previous knowledge of music is necessary to ring.  It is a rewarding way to learn music and worship.  We have a Handbell Ensemble consisting of 6 people and 2 quartet ensembles.  We meet every Monday evening from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Audio/Visual Tech Team - We are always looking for gifted people to help with audio, visual, and lighting in our worship services.  If you have experience with any of these areas or are interesed in being trained to be a part of the team, contact the Church office for more information.
